ABOUT / REYNARD ETWAROO
Curious by default.
Software Engineer in Guyana. Interested in the whole picture, hands-on with the details.
From the first schema to the frontend.
I like understanding how the pieces fit together and building the pieces when they don’t exist yet. I’m interested in where data belongs, how a request moves through a system, and how an interface makes it understandable.
Building together.
With Shivesh, Ezra, and Clarence, I worked on SkillTree, connecting people in Guyana with job opportunities and paths to develop their skills. Our team won the senior category of the SBM Innovation Challenge 2026.
At Imataka Technologies, our team built RoadSense, an AI-powered road-condition intelligence platform for the Caribbean. With Shivesh, Kristeen, and Timur, we took first place in the CANTO Youth Innovation Challenge 2026.
Always learning.
I enjoy exploring new tools and learning by building. This site is one of those exercises: a small application built with Go, htmx, Tailwind, and SQLite.
Let’s build something.
A product, a tricky problem, or a good conversation. I’d like to hear about it.
